The official world wide web site of the Pinellas Pilots Association flying club located in Clearwater, Florida.
The Pinellas Pilots Association flying club is a corporation that was founded in 1998, and was a spin off of Students and Flight Instructors from the once, St. Pete Junior College aviation program. It is also combined with various member's from the community. The airplane is hangered at Sheltair Aviation at the Saint Petersburg/Clearwater International Airport (KPIE).
The Pinellas Pilots Association flying club was established to minimize the costs associated with renting or owning an aircraft. There are numerous Flight Instructors in the Association for assistance in earning a Private Pilot's License, Instrument Rating, or just to stay current. This one-on-one flight training is a great benefit of the flying club. The "club" is a great way to interact with people in the community and it is a great tool to use for pursuing the dream of being a pilot!
